Dear Sir or Madam,

the Cultural Alderman's Office of the City of Bolzano and the Cultural Alderman's Office of the Municipality of Nova Milanese would like to invite you to take part in the 3rd edition of the initiative Memory: the urgency to have it, a presentation of audiovisual and documentary productions concerning the topics of Resistance, Deportation and Liberation in Europe in the period of World War II.

The initiative has an international character and it intends let people get to know the audiovisual productions in the specified topics produced by institutions, institutes, associations, organizations and schools of every kind and degree. In addition, the goal of the biannual initiative is the enhancement of the Audiovisual Archives of the Memory structured as a service for the territory in a special connection with the world of the school. These archives is established by the Historical Archives of the City of Bolzano and by the Municipal Library of the Municipality of Nova Milanese.

The initiative moves around the three sections of Resistance, Deportation and Liberation in Europe and it is divided into documentary and one-theme-video films, whether they are published or not.
The audiovisual productions must be sent to the Historical Archives of the City of Bolzano according to the procedure and within the deadline indicated by the enclosed participation rules. The sent productions are not returned.

The timely sent audiovisual productions are shown in Bolzano and in Nova Milanese in the spring 2001 in two following moments, which will come to your's notice, by sending of the programme to each participant. It will also be arranged a catalogue with a commented list of all the sent works.
